| Katrina Nicholson Dip T MBA, (Head
Migration Services) Katrina Nicholson is a South
Australian who has been working in South Africa for the past 3
years. In Network Migration Services she is principally
responsible for business migration, developing business plans and
assisting clients to assemble the documentation necessary for a
business skills visa.
Katrina brings to Network Migration Services over 10 years of experience working for the Government of South Australia in immigration. Immediately before joining us she held the title of South African Representative for the Government of South Australia, a role that built on her previous position of Assistant Director, Immigration SA in the Department of Trade and Economic Development. |

Katrina has been substantially
involved in the establishment of the Immigration SA program and
services and policy development for South Australia's intake of
migrants. As part of her role in Immigration SA, Katrina
regularly visited South Africa along with, the UK, Germany, Ireland,
Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong and New Zealand for the Government of
South Australia. She also has a further 11 years working in other
Government Agencies, mostly writing and implementing State Government
policy in health
and education. Professionally Katrina started her working life as a Teacher and Director in Children's Services in Sydney, New South Wales (NSW) and has been a Lecturer in Technical and Further Education in both South Australia and NSW. Academically she holds a teaching qualification and in 2005 completed a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the Adelaide University. Outside of work Katrina is an avid marathon runner, having completed 2 Comrades Marathons. She is also a keen reader, has a strong interest in politics and is slowly developing a taste for South African wine, although, coming "Wine State" in Australia she is still a loyal consumer of South Australian wine when she can. |
